The following privacy policy applies to both the TownHub web version and the TownHub App.
By downloading or using the app or website, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using these services. This app and website is owned and operated by Keith Kosmin / Kosmin Media Group, who is referred to as the "App Provider" in this document.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT:
Personal Information you disclose to us:
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide to us when you register and participate in app activities (such as posting on the chat forums or sending private messages within the app).
The personal information we may collect includes:
Email address - This information is collected for login purposes, password reset purposes, and to keep in contact when needed by the app.
Zip code or Town Name - This information is collected to determine which TownHub community/town is appropriate for where you are located.
Information automatically collected:
We also automatically collect your IP address and device characteristics when you use the app. This information is primarily needed to maintain security and operation of our app, and for internal reporting purposes.
WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED?
Your email address and zip code and town will not be shared with any third parties.
Your IP and device characteristics may be shared with third party services to deliver app services, including Google Firebase. Google Firebase user information is never linked to a user or device identifier and is used by Firebase to determine platform and version adoption in order to better inform Firebase feature decisions.
LOCATION OF YOUR DATA:
Your data is stored in the United States. All our servers are located in the United States.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION:
We only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?:
We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from children under 13 years of age. By using this app you represent that you are at least 13. If we learn that personal information from a user less than 13 years old has been collected, we will deactivate the account and delete the data from our records. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?:
If you would like to review or change the information in your account, or terminate your account, you can email: priority@townhub.com with your username and email address. Upon request we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, abuse, assist in investigations, enforce our privacy policy and terms of use, and/or comply with legal requirements.
Opting out of email: You unsubscribe from any of our emails by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any of the emails, or contacting us directly with a request to: priority@townhub.com. This will opt you out of any optional emails from the app, however you will still receive emails necessary to administer your account. You can opt out of all emails entirely by requesting to deactivate your account.
