~ Our Wedding Day ~
1st United Methodist Church
Stephenville, Texas
Moments we'll cherish:
Kenton walking Britney down the aisle gave her more joy than she can
ever express as the three became a family.
~ ~ ~
After the prelude we had a Remembrance Ceremony
to honor our passed loved ones:
In this ceremony, we selected family members
to carry a rose down the middle aisle and place it in a vase on the altar.
As "There You Are" by Martina McBride played, this signified
the seating of family for them:
Alfred Carroll Sr. "Pa Pa" - Tysha Beaty ~ Edwin Z. Snyder "Pa Pa"- Mica
Powell ~ "Pearlie" Oliver- Heather Osman ~ Rev. "Daddy Jerry"
Oliver - Jason Carpenter ~ Uretha Carpenter " Mema"- Randy Carpenter ~
E. A. "Fritz" Carpenter "Pa"- Aaron Carpenter
~ ~ ~
We were all blessed by Selected Scripture
readings by:
Pearl Carpenter, Randy's Nana
Deuteronomy 6:1-9
Psalms 121
Brent Hill, Randy's cousin
I Corinthians 12:31
I John 3:18-24, 4:7-12
~ ~ ~
The couple loved the Unity Candle Ceremony
and wrote their own vows
to incorporate family and Kenton.

A note from Britney -
One of the most touching moments during the ceremony for me was Randy
putting a rose in the vase for his great Mema, Uretha Carpenter. She was
missed as were those who could not attend due to a family emergency.

Having a little one as part of the ceremony
was an experience.
When Britney and Kenton had made their way down to the altar and the preacher
started talking, Kenton grabbed her hand and said, "Mom,
I'm thirsty."
Britney shares, "It was so funny. I had to stop looking
at the preacher and tend to him. You can actually hear him on the video.
He'll love that when he's older."
